On the 4th of January 2008, our beloved dog, Sophie was put down. She was diagnosed with Cushings Syndrome which resulted in a lot of problems, apparently she had it all her life which would explain why many times she was sick. We decided it would be best to put her down before extreme pain began. We new it was what she wanted.
We got her from a group of 3 when I was only 2, I have never known life without her, she has always been there, even though sometimes I would get annoyed at her, she was always there. We had much fun at Pathfinder Camps, especially the Ramptons and Booyong Camps. I could not believe someone that had been in my life from the very beginning could be gone. Even though it was painless for her, I could not bare it. Almost every time she comes into my thoughts, it brings me to the brink of crying. So now I am saying farewell... this blog is dedicated to you.
